Cherie's journey began in Virginia before she embarked on a 16-year adventure in Alaska, residing in Fairbanks and Eagle River. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Wayland Baptist University. Prior to transitioning into real estate, Cherie accumulated a decade of experience in insurance and spent 20 years in accounting and finance across non-profit, government, and corporate sectors.  She operated a consulting business specializing in change management and guiding individuals in launching and establishing their businesses. She has also successfully managed her own real estate investing business for 4 years, completing Terak El Moussa's mentorship program and collaborating with numerous real estate investors.
